Terms of service

NKENIDY INVEST is a platform where project holders present ventures and verified investors discover them. The platform provides the tools: accounts, identity verification, confidentiality gating of documents, and messaging. It does not give investment advice, does not broker or execute investments, and makes no promise about the outcome of any contact made through it. Every investment decision is yours and between you and the other party.

You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. One person, one account. You are responsible for what happens under your account: keep your password private, keep your two-factor device safe and your backup codes where only you can find them, and tell us at once if you believe someone else has access.

Investors and administrators must use two-factor authentication; it cannot be switched off for those roles.

Some features require identity verification. We may ask for documents and may refuse or suspend an account whose verification fails or whose information proves false.

Documents in a project's data room are confidential. Access requires signing the platform's non-disclosure agreement, which is recorded with the time of signature. Downloads are logged and may be watermarked. Sharing confidential material outside the platform, or using it for any purpose other than evaluating the investment, is a breach of these terms and of the agreement you signed, and may lead to suspension and to legal action by the project holder.

Do not post content you have no right to share, do not misrepresent who you are or what a project is, do not attempt to access other accounts or to probe the platform's security, and do not use the platform to solicit or defraud. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Creating an account is free. Fees for listing a project, accessing a project, or subscribing to a plan are shown on the platform before you pay. Fees already paid are not refunded unless the law requires it.

You keep the rights to what you upload. You give us the licence needed to store it, show it to the people you choose to show it to, and keep the records the law requires.

The platform is provided as it is, during a phase where it is still being built. We work to keep it available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for investment losses, for the conduct of other users, or for indirect damage, to the extent the law allows such limits.

You can close your account at any time from the account screen; we provide an export of your data on request. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice and a reason, except where the law or a serious security concern requires acting at once.

These terms are governed by the law of Burkina Faso. We try to settle any disagreement amicably first; failing that, the courts of Ouagadougou have jurisdiction, without prejudice to protections you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

We will update these terms as features open. The version and date at the top apply; material changes are announced on the platform and continued use after the announcement is acceptance.
